Hello!

Hey there, I am glad you are here! My name is Gaven Featherston, the author and writer of "The Dry Bones". This site is not a business or necessity in my life but is more of a passion project. I grew up in an Apostolic household with my mother, father, and three brothers. From a young age I always held a fascination with books and the many authors who had used their imagination to make bountiful amounts of adventures and stories. Throughout my schooling I had always seemed to excel in literature classes over that of math... an age-old truth! Needless to say, I even tried writing my very own sci-fi novel, which ended in flames as I lost the entire work on a computer reset. At the time it was heartbreaking, but my young mind got over it fairly easy in the end. I did not return to any writing pursuits for many years, but I did try and create a photography blog, a story for another time. At the time of writing this I am 22 and preparing to welcome my family into our newly purchased home. I have been brought to a point in life where my spirituality is growing beyond belief and my love for Jesus Christ is running even deeper. Though this little "blurb" is not a very extensive background, I believe is gives just enough. Through the articles I shall write on here, my hope is that through God, I can speak upon his word in a clear-cut manner. No fluff, no fat, just the lean meat to create a fit "spiritual body" around the dry bones in our lives. I hope you can find God as well as his wisdom here.
